The Government of the Russian Federation will increase the amount of funds for preferential lending to agricultural producers by an additional 5 billion rubles. The cabinet named two main tasks that will be solved thanks to this support. In Russia, after the New Year holidays are over, the export duty on wheat will decrease by almost 12 rubles. Also, indicative prices for all major grains, except corn, will continue to grow. Russia and Japan have not agreed on mutual quotas for fishing in 2026. One of the Russian experts called the situation problematic specifically for the Japanese side. In January, the export duty on sunflower oil in Russia will increase by more than 1 thousand rubles. At the same time, tariffs on meal will be zeroed for the first time in over 3 years. China accounts for every third ton of Russian meat exports, said the head of the Rosselkhoznadzor, Sergei Dankvert. He also shared other successes in bilateral trade cooperation.
