The Meteorological Department warns northern Thailand to be cautious of the dangers from a tropical storm on April 16-20.

The Meteorological Department forecasts today's (April 14) weather to be generally hot in the upper part of Thailand with some areas experiencing extreme heat and afternoon thunderstorms due to low pressure, as heat covers the upper part of Thailand, while the southern wind covers Bangkok and its vicinity and the eastern region, resulting in some areas experiencing heavy rain. The public is advised to take care of their health due to the hot to extremely hot weather conditions, avoiding prolonged outdoor activities or work. For the southern region, it will be hot during the day with some areas experiencing heavy rain due to the western wind covering the Andaman Sea, the southern region, and the Gulf of Thailand.
