The Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation, Mr. Al-Quseir, has announced the opening of new international markets for Egyptian agricultural products, with the Kingdom of Morocco now accepting Egyptian potatoes and Canada importing fresh strawberries. This achievement is attributed to successful negotiations and the adherence to technical and phytosanitary standards by the Egyptian agricultural quarantine, led by Dr. Saad Moussa. These developments are part of Egypt's ongoing efforts to enhance the global presence of its agricultural exports, which are in high demand for their quality. This news comes on the heels of a report highlighting that Egyptian agricultural exports have surpassed 2.2 million tons, reaching a value of about 1.5 billion dollars in the first quarter of the year.
