The Ministry of Agriculture has predicted milk production by 2030

In the next six years, raw milk production in Russia should increase to 38.9 million tons (official data for milk uses solid units of weight - ROSNG) or 6.5 million tons from the 2021 level. This forecast was announced at the II All-Russian Dairy Forum of Regions by Olga Lastochkina, Head of the Dairy and Beef Cattle Breeding and Biotechnology Department of the Livestock and Breeding Department of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, Milknews reports. The report notes that the situation for different categories of farms in the first half of the current year was ambiguous. For example, according to statistics, in agricultural organizations, the output of this product increased by 3.3 percent in January-August, but in farms and households, a decrease was observed.
