From October 8 to 15, the State Inspection Committee in the agro-industrial complex of Kazakhstan's Ministry of Agriculture intercepted over 1.6 tons of regulated products imported from countries such as Russia, Kyrgyzstan, China, Poland, Lithuania, and Turkey. These products lacked necessary phytosanitary certificates, and in some cases, were missing required markings. The violations included the import of uncertified fruits, vegetables, and grains, leading to over 76 instances of illegal importation of high phytosanitary risk products. The violators were referred to the police, and fines totaling over 4.2 million tenge were imposed, reflecting a larger pattern of over 5,000 violations and 375 million tenge in fines for plant quarantine offenses since the year's start.
