The Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation will consider the proposal of the Ministry of Agriculture to introduce in 2024 a duty-free quota for the import of a number of types of chicken meat into Russia in the amount of up to 160 thousand tons. The press service of the Ministry of Economic Development reported this to TASS. “The proposals have been received by the Ministry of Economic Development. They will be considered in the prescribed manner within the framework of the subcommittee on customs, tariff and non-tariff regulation, protective measures in foreign trade of the government commission on economic development and integration,” the message says.
