In Ukraine, a Ministry of Resources may be created, which would include the current Ministry of Economy, Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food, and Ministry of Ecology. Ukrainian People's Deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak shared these plans in his Telegram channel, according to APK-Inform.
"We will have a new Ministry of Resources: this is MinEconomy + MinAgro + MinEcology. This was already the case in 2019, but now with ecology as well," the deputy wrote.
He also added that Oleksiy Sobolev, who is currently the first deputy minister of economy in the current Ukrainian government, is planned to be appointed as the head of the new ministry. Regarding the current head of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy Vitaliy Koval, there is a possibility of his return to the position of head of the State Property Fund of Ukraine, which he held before being appointed as minister.
It is also planned that the current deputy minister of economy could be appointed as vice prime minister for European and Euro-Atlantic integration of Ukraine.
