Düzce University's Traditional and Complementary Medicine Center has started production of the Red Reishi mushroom, also known as Ganoderma Lucidum, at a farm in Sarıdere village. The mushroom, known for its commercial value and potential health benefits, was reproduced organically and is now ready for harvest. The first batch was sold for 30 liras per kilogram, with the retail price being around 3 thousand liras. The university is also providing academic support to those producing the mushroom.
