The Government has approved the resolution to apply the new management plan for eastern Atlantic and Mediterranean bluefin tuna for 2024, agreed by the countries that catch it, one week before the most important part of the campaign begins, with the entry of the purse seine fleet. In the resolution, published this Saturday by the Official State Gazette (BOE), the General Secretariat of Fisheries regulates the campaign, adapting the regulations to the agreements of the International Commission for the Conservation of Atlantic Tuna (Iccat, in its acronym in English). ).
