[Nongsuchuksan Newspaper=Reporter Park Hyun-ryul] The Naju Livestock Auction Market, a subsidiary of the NH Nonghyup Economic Group, conducted on-site practical training education for 52 students from the Department of Veterinary Medicine at Chonnam National University on the 4th. The practical training was carried out as part of the human resource development program of the Gwangju-Jeonnam Regional Innovation Platform Energy New Business Development Business Unit to strengthen the practical capabilities required in the production and distribution sites of livestock products. The main contents included △ the operation process of the auction market △ the procedures for animal slaughter, disease control, and hygiene management △ the safety management system based on HACCP △ an introduction to the processing methods of carcasses. Through the on-site practice, the students were able to gain insights into the main aspects of ensuring the safety of livestock products.
