The weighted average price of cow's milk in Spain rose to 0.36 euros per liter in November, up from 0.35 euros in October and 0.34 in November 2020. Despite this, it remains below the 0.40 euros per liter that farmers believe is necessary to cover increasing production costs. Deliveries increased by 1.1% compared to November 2020, reaching 6.85 million tons. The number of farmers with deliveries decreased to 11,475 from 11,572 in October and 12,170 in January. The average price of goat's milk continued to rise, reaching 0.860 euros per liter in October, a 7.23% increase from the same month the previous year. Production decreased by 1.34% to 28.69 million liters, and the number of farmers decreased by 6.08% to 4,416. The average price of sheep's milk also rose in October, reaching 1,147 euros per liter, a 5.4% increase from the same month in 2020. Production grew by 2.88% to 30.60 million liters, but the number of farmers who declared deliveries fell by 5.71% to 2,776.
