According to EastFruit analysts, the average wholesale prices for onions in Uzbekistan have updated another record. As of today, January 20, 2023, they reach 8,000 soums for small wholesale lots. This is exactly four times more expensive than the previous record price for onions for this time of year, which was set at the same time last year. Over the week, wholesale prices for onions in the country increased by a third, over the past two weeks - by 60% at once.
