Thiet Tru village in Vietnam is experiencing a decrease in the price of kumquats due to reduced demand and the impact of Covid-19. The traditional kumquat bending and cultivation for decorative purposes in pots, ponds, and jars has become a unique craft, with prices ranging from 50,000 to 500,000 VND per tree. The village, with around 170 households specializing in this craft, covers 65 hectares of kumquat cultivation and has been recognized as a craft village by Hung Yen Provincial People's Committee. The craft involves carving and decorating the pots and pots with intricate designs and miniatures, increasing the value of the kumquats.
