The Indonesian Palm Oil Farmers Association (Apkasindo) of Southwest Aceh Regency has reported a rise in the price of fresh fruit bunches (FFB) for palm oil to IDR 2,110 per kilogram. This increase is due to external factors such as the price of crude palm oil (CPO) at export ports and transportation costs, as well as internal factors like the local average CPO yield content. The association suggests that farmers can boost CPO yields through improved plantation management and high-quality seeds. Apkasindo is also advocating for government policies that support the palm oil industry, including market prices, transportation costs, and fertilizer price policies.
