The price of the heifer has increased in São Paulo and Goiás.

The price of heifers registered an increase in part of the state of São Paulo this Thursday (16), according to an analysis by the "Tem Boi na Linha" report, released by Scot Consultoria. The supply of animals, mainly from confinements, kept the slaughter rates at comfortable levels, but with signs of adjustment. "The exports of beef are performing well, but sales in the domestic market are below expectations," the analysis pointed out. In this scenario, the price of the heifer increased by R$ 3.00/cwt, while the other categories remained stable in the daily comparison. The slaughter rates were, on average, eight days. All prices are gross and with term. In Roraima, the supply of cattle met the demand, but the slower outflow of beef discouraged new business. There were no changes in the quotations of any category, and there is no reference for "boi China" in the state.
