This forecast was expressed by Dmitry Rylko, General Director of the Institute for Agricultural Market Studies (IKAR), to APK-Inform. "The main factor affecting the situation is the oversupply of the global wheat market and the prices associated with it. Wheat prices have already declined this year, and despite expectations of growth, such growth is unlikely," said the analyst. According to IKAR, the quotations for 4th grade wheat in Russian ports are currently around 15.1 thousand rubles per ton excluding VAT.
