On November 19, the People's Committee of Dak Lak Province organized a conference to summarize the tasks of the year 2025 and the directions for the tasks of 2026. Despite unfavorable weather, Dak Lak's pepper industry still reached a milestone of 1.1 billion USD. Mrs. Dang Thi Thuy, Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Dak Lak Province, said that in 2025, the pepper industry continued to affirm its role as one of the main crops of Dak Lak Province, contributing significantly to agricultural growth and increasing farmers' income. The province currently has about 44,900 hectares of pepper (including 1,000 hectares from Phu Yen Province). Among these, there are 269 planting area codes, with an area of about 7,400 hectares and 40 packaging facilities that have been assigned codes.
