In his latest interview with the media, Minister of Agriculture and Food Georgi Tahkov announced that within two weeks the Advisory Council on Land Relations would be convened, where the department would present further changes to the Agricultural Land Ownership and Use Act (ALOUA). We all thought that these changes would address the highly contentious texts on whether one-year land use contracts should gradually become multi-year ones, as this issue of discord has accompanied all previous working meetings related to agricultural land use and future legislation.
