Bulgaria's wheat exports experienced a significant decline in January, marking the weakest start in six years. However, February exports rebounded to normal levels, resulting in a record high total export of 4.4 Mt since the start of the season, doubling the amount exported in the same period last year. Despite falling prices, farmers are not inclined to sell. The primary importers of Bulgarian wheat are Indonesia, Algeria, and Spain, with exports to the Community reaching nearly 1.1 Mt and 3.3 Mt delivered to third countries.
