The Region of Murcia advocates for the interconnection of basins in the European Committee of the Regions

The Region of Murcia claimed the interconnection of hydrographic basins as an effective and solidary solution to the structural water deficit at the Committee on Environment, Climate Change and Energy (ENVE) of the European Committee of the Regions held this week in Łódź (Poland), according to a statement from the regional government. The director general of the European Union, Adrián Zittelli, participated in the working sessions focused on affordable energy, adaptation to climate change, and water resilience, in which local and regional strategies to face the challenges of climate change and water scarcity were discussed.
