In the first half of 2020, the Republic of Crimea exported agricultural products worth $8.9 million, with Ukraine as the leading buyer, importing food worth $5.7 million. As of August 21, the export of agricultural products from the republic amounted to almost $11 million, surpassing the planned indicator. The leading trade position of the Republic of Crimea is poultry meat, spirits, and grape wine. In contrast, Russia's leading trade position is grain, accounting for 27% of the total supply of agricultural products. In 2020, Russia is expected to export agricultural products and food for $25 billion.
