Feed prices in Egypt have fluctuated, with imported corn seeing a decrease of 100 pounds to 9,550 pounds per ton, while soybean meal and seed raw materials remained stable. Imported gluten price increased by 1,000 pounds to 33,000 pounds due to its high protein content compared to local gluten. The high prices of poultry feed and its inputs, such as soybean, gluten, and corn, are attributed to the lack of quantities entering Egypt from global markets, global inflation, the increase in the value of the dollar, and the Russian-Ukrainian war.
