Applications have begun for the "Rural Prosperity Small Ruminant Support Project" aimed at increasing the participation of young people in rural production. The project stands out as an important opportunity, particularly for young breeders in Muş who are engaged in animal husbandry. The project, which aims to encourage young producers to stay in the countryside, targets an increase in the number of small ruminant businesses and the stock of breeding animals. Under the project, young breeders who qualify for support will be provided with a total of 100 small ruminants by the General Directorate of Agricultural Enterprises, comprising 95 female and 5 male animals. Young breeders in Muş who graze their animals on pastures aim to expand their herds and become business owners through the project.
