Russia donated over 130 tons of refined sunflower oil to Sri Lanka as humanitarian aid as part of Russia's contribution to the World Food Program. The head of the press service of the Russian Embassy in the island state, Alexander Ivin, told a TASS correspondent. According to him, this is the second humanitarian aid from Russia for Sri Lanka in the last six months and the first in the coming year. “We are starting this year with such a significant event - the transfer of another batch of refined sunflower oil to the people of Sri Lanka.
