A survey by Inarktika and VTsIOM reveals that 98% of Russians consume fish, with herring, pink salmon, and pollock being the most popular varieties. The study also found that 76% of respondents would like to consume fish more frequently. The research underscores the potential for growth in the red fish market, with Inarktika focusing on localizing production and expanding sales channels. The survey was conducted against the backdrop of President Putin's directive to boost fish consumption, which currently stands at 21-22 kg per person, below the recommended 28 kg.
