Since March, counterfeit 'Russian royal jelly' has been sold on e-commerce platforms, drawing significant attention. Despite no imports since 2022, these products were sold at low prices with increasing sales from April to June. The China Bee Products Association and the National Bee Products Testing Agency, supported by the national market supervision department, conducted authenticity tests and exposed the fakes through a video. Their findings led to nationwide inspections and actions against counterfeit products. However, some illegal merchants continue to sell by changing stores and product names. The association urges industry members to report such sales to authorities.
