The National Sheep and Goat Breeders' Association (NOKA) marked 15 years since its establishment during the Annual Association Forum under the motto "You are not alone! Sheep farming in times of crisis." According to Simeon Karakolev, co-chair of NOKA, with their work, sheep farmers have proven that it is a cause for Bulgarian sheep farming, for quality, for traditions, for the sustainable future of the sector. "NOKA is a driving force of cooperation and over 80% of all associated farmers are part of the association. We have created a model that works successfully. The institutions have started to listen to us, proposals for legislative changes, for changes to the Strategic Plan, with which we hope to have contributed to the better and sustainable development of the sector.
