The Southern Zone Development Party and the Air Force jointly revive the forest

The Southwest State Enterprise in Blagoevgrad, in collaboration with the Air Force Command, is organizing a reforestation campaign "Revive the Forest" on November 5, 2025, in the territory of the village of Alino, Samokov Municipality in the Sofia region. The Air Force is participating in the campaign as a continuation of the events dedicated to October 16 – the holiday of aviation and the Air Force. The initiative plans to plant 1113 coniferous saplings in an area devastated by fire near Alino, located between the Rila, Verila, Vitosha, and Plana mountains. The number of black pine container seedlings is not chosen randomly, but is symbolically linked to the 113th anniversary of combat aviation.
