The Ministry of Agriculture in Spain has completed and published the records for the persimmon and citrus campaign, allowing farmers to submit export applications through the Cexveg computer application. Despite difficulties caused by wind, the president of the Spanish Kaki Association is confident that there will be exports of persimmons to China in the next few weeks. Persimmons are an ideal fruit for the fall season and can be eaten from September to January, with some calling it rosewood. The only difference between persimmons and persimmon is the state of ripeness, as persimmons undergo an artificial ripening process to remove their astringent quality.
