The article reports on the significant catch figures from various marine basins and exclusive economic zones around Russia, highlighting the diverse range of fish species brought in by Russian fishing vessels. The Northern Basin saw a catch of 427.3 thousand tons, predominantly cod and haddock. The Western Basin contributed 71.2 thousand tons, with sprat and Baltic herring being the dominant species. The Azov-Black Sea basin had a catch of 32.4 thousand tons, marking a slight increase from 2023, with anchovy making up a significant portion. The Volga-Caspian Basin added 73.3 thousand tons to the total catch. Additionally, Russian fishing vessels killed over 476.6 thousand tons of resources in exclusive economic zones and open waters of the World Ocean. As of December 14, 37 vessels, carrying 44,999 thousand tons of fish, were en route to the coast of Primorsky Krai, with the majority of the catch expected to be delivered to the domestic market.
