The Traditional Olive Grove Association is born with 15,000 farmers from 30 cooperatives

The Traditional Olive Grove Association, which groups around 15,000 farmers from nearly 30 cooperatives in the provinces of Granada, Córdoba, and Jaén, was established this Tuesday in Jaén with the aim of defending a unique social and environmental model and betting on the differentiation of the product through price. The promoters of this association have emphasized that they want to continue living from their farms, in their villages, in the rural environment, and for this, they need strategies with which to value and differentiate the healthy, social, environmental, and economic aspects of the predominant model of the Andalusian olive grove, which represents 70% of the one and a half million hectares of olive groves in the region.
