Vietnam's pepper exports experienced a decline in volume but an increase in value in the first seven months of 2022, compared to the same period in 2021. The average export price per ton of pepper rose by 36.8%. The United States is the primary market for Vietnam's pepper exports, which increased by 19.8% in volume and 84.4% in value in the first five months of 2022, compared to the same period in 2021. The United States imported 27.52 thousand tons of pepper from Vietnam, which was 69.2% of the total pepper imported by the country in the same timeframe.
