The U.S. Soybean Export Council highlights China as a customer

China remains the "most irreplaceable customer," affirmed Jim Sutter, executive director of the United Soybean Export Council (USSEC). "We have been in China since 1982. Over the past 43 years, we have invested in building ties, training, and cooperation with the Chinese industry to create mutual trust," Sutter commented to Xinhua News Agency in an online interview. Sutter indicated that the USSEC maintains a team of about 20 employees in China, who work together with feed, livestock, and food companies on programs related to formulation, sustainability, and quality management of feed. After more than four decades of cooperation, the agricultural partnership between the two countries "has generated enormous mutual benefits," Sutter stated, and expressed his great confidence in the Chinese market.
