A severe flood situation in Valencia, Spain, caused by a Depression at High Levels (DANA), has submerged 47,376 hectares of agricultural land, which is 89.2% of the total affected area. The floods, brought about by heavy rains and the overflow of the Turia and Júcar rivers, have severely damaged fruit trees and rice fields, essential to the region's agriculture. Preliminary economic losses are estimated to reach over 100 million euros, and the government has responded by allocating 200 million euros in aid for farmers and ranchers, along with additional funds for repairing infrastructure and providing financing solutions.
