Udmurtia's agro-industrial complex has seen a 11.1% increase in exports in the first half of 2021 compared to the same period last year, totaling $ 4.39 million. The region has started exporting dry demineralized milk whey to Kazakhstan and has made deliveries of dairy products to China. New exports include rapeseed oil, pedigree bioproducts, edible chicken eggs, and mushroom mycelium. The region has also entered the US market for the first time with its milk and dairy products. The total agricultural exports for 2021 are projected to reach $ 6 million, marking a 20% growth rate over the past five years.
