Under over-the-counter agreements, 3,780 thousand tons of fish products have been sold, the press service of the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) of Russia reported. "Market participants will provide information on concluded transactions to the exchange on a voluntary basis starting from November 1, 2025," the department noted. The Russian government has introduced mandatory registration of over-the-counter transactions with fish products. Market participants, including intermediaries, must provide the exchange with information on concluded over-the-counter transactions of more than 10 tons of fish products — pollock, cod, hake, herring, mackerel, chum salmon, keta, and sockeye salmon. Earlier, the FAS of Russia established that the greatest contribution to pricing is made by the link of intermediaries between the fish producer and the retail network.
