This is stated in the message of the Federal Agency for Fishery. “For the first half of 2021, the volume of oyster cultivation increased by 12% compared to the same period last year, to 4.4 thousand tons,” the message says. As explained in the department, the mariculture enterprises that grow this type of mollusk are concentrated in the Far East, in the Crimea and Krasnodar Territory.
