The North Kazakhstan region has seen a significant decrease in egg production, leading to a 27.6% drop in overall production due to an outbreak of bird flu in the Kyzylzhar region. As a result, egg prices have increased by 30%. Despite this setback, the region experienced a slight growth in gross output and saw increases in meat and milk production. The number of cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, and horses has also increased, while the poultry population has decreased by 35%. The region is projected to grow in the agricultural sector by 1% and reach a production volume of 780 billion tenge by the end of the year.
