In October, the Rostov region in Russia exported a total of 2.03 million tons of grain and its processed products, with Turkey, Greece, Italy, Iran, and Albania being the main importers. However, this export volume was 18% lower than in August, with a decrease in sales due to sluggish demand and government attempts to regulate wheat prices. The Ministry of Agriculture is also prepared to purchase up to 2 million tons of grain by the end of the year.
