Russia: The volumes of grain exports from the Rostov region in October increased by 1.6%, but remained lower than in August

In October, more than 530 thousand tons of grain and its processed products were cleared for export from the sea ports of the Rostov region, as well as 1.5 million tons of grain and its processed products with transshipment at the port of Kavkaz for subsequent export, this was reported in response to request N in the Office of Rosselkhoznadzor for the Rostov, Volgograd, Astrakhan regions and the Republic of Kalmykia. In total, 2.03 million tons of grain were exported from the Rostov region in October. According to N calculations based on Rosselkhoznadzor data, this is 1.6% more than in September of this year (almost 1.997 million tons), but 18% less than in August (2.4 million tons). The main importers of grain products in October are Turkey, Greece, Italy, Iran, and Albania.
