Europe's agriculture has been significantly affected by a range of extreme weather conditions, from extremely wet conditions in the north to severe droughts in the south, challenging farmers and affecting yields. In particular, spring frosts significantly reduced the harvest of apples in Poland and grapes, strawberries and asparagus in Germany, due to the lack of light, the quality and yield of strawberries, tomatoes and cucumbers deteriorated.
