Egypt has been declared free from the African horse plague by the World Organization for Animal Health (OIE), following a unanimous vote at the organization's general assembly. This announcement, made by the country's Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation, Mr. Al-Qaseer, signifies a significant achievement in the country's livestock industry and its ambitions to enhance horse exports. The status was confirmed after a technical file was submitted by Egypt's General Authority for Veterinary Services, highlighting the nation's dedication to advanced veterinary services and compliance with global standards.
