Vietnam: There is a need for a radical solution to sustainably develop Ngoc Linh ginseng products

This afternoon (November 5), in Kon Tum city, the delegation of the Ministry of Science and Technology led by Member of the Party Central Committee, Minister Huynh Thanh Dat had a meeting with the leaders of Kon Tum province. and local functional departments on the development of Ngoc Linh ginseng and the national product of Vietnamese ginseng with a focus on Ngoc Linh ginseng. After many years of conserving seed sources, up to now, Kon Tum province has a total area of over 1,260 hectares of Ngoc Linh ginseng with a total output estimated at 213 tons. Mr. Le Ngoc Tuan, Chairman of the People's Committee of Kon Tum province, said that the 15th Provincial Party Congress set a target that by 2025, the total area of Ngoc Linh ginseng in the province would reach 4,500 hectares.
