Mexico: They launch a platform to save water in agriculture

Mexico City.- Farmers in Mexico already have a digital platform, called Irrimodel, to know in real time the operation of irrigated crops, which allows saving up to 40 percent of water without compromising yields, reported the Secretariat of Agriculture and Rural Development (Sader) in a statement. The platform was developed by the federal agency in collaboration with the National Institute of Forestry, Agricultural and Livestock Research (INIFAP).
