In order to achieve genetic improvements in herds of cattle, goats and sheep that allow a higher yield in livestock production in the Mixteca Poblana, last weekend 5 Artificial Insemination Centers and Livestock Services began their operation in this region. Alberto Jiménez Merino, director of the Center for Agrifood and Technological Innovations (CIAT) reported that, during the first operational meeting at the center of this type installed in the municipality of Chinantla, 370 doses of semen were applied to the same number of cattle.
