The first cherries for the season are already on the markets, and their price reaches BGN 30 per kilogram. Ivan Atanasov works at the Mladost market in the seaside town and is among the few traders who loaded cherries for BGN 30. The high price of cherries is due to the fact that they are imported from Greece, more precisely from the island of Crete, and whenever some product for the first time, it turns out something like speculation, who produced it first, it determines the price, the manufacturer told BNT.
