The SAG/USDA-APHIS/ASOEX Fresh Fruit Inspection Site in Cabrero has inspected over 4.6 million boxes of fresh fruit and flowers this season, with a majority of the certification going towards blueberries and apples for the US market. Since the site began operating in 2017, over 30 million boxes of fresh fruit have been certified. The inspected boxes this season consisted of 69.7% blueberries, 26% apples, and smaller percentages of cherries, Asian pears, and other products from 39 exporters in the Maule and Los Lagos regions.
