The French Association of Apples and Pears expects a promising harvest for the 2023/2024 season, following a difficult year in 2022 due to production costs and bad weather. The weather did not affect apple orchards, and the quality, size, sugar content, and taste of the fruit are satisfactory. The new season is projected to harvest 1.5 million tons, 8% more than in 2022, and French apples are predicted to benefit from a low European harvest and significant export demand.
