Journalists Èlia Borràs, Laura Aragó, and Xavier Aldekoa, from the magazine 5W, have won the seventh edition of the EIT Food Journalism Prize in Agro-Food Innovation and Sustainability, valued at 1,500 euros, for the report "A storm of soft gold," as revealed this Thursday by the organization. Second place went to Isabel Rubio, from El País, for the article "The end of Camembert cheese? How the decline of biodiversity affects what we eat," in which she explains the negative consequences of depending on few foods. While the third prize went to Laura G. de Rivera, for the article "A global village on Mars, with a stop on the Moon," published in the SINC Agency, about how the colonization of Earth's satellite will be the first step to reaching Mars. The authors of the three winning works, with 1,500, 1,000, and 500 euros, respectively, collected their awards this Thursday at an event held at the Madrid Press Association in a year that has received a record number of applications, ...
