Three Transcarpathian small farms in Ukraine have joined the Milk Module

In 2022, three farms in Zakarpattia Oblast, which supply milk to processing enterprises or closed institutions, were connected to the 'Milk Module'. The Head Office of the State Production and Consumer Service in Zakarpattia Oblast reported that milk from these farms is tested for bacterial contamination monthly, and the permissible limits were not exceeded. The region is unique as it is home to small farms with 20-50 and up to 100 cattle. The full-scale implementation of the 'Milk Module', which was planned for 2022, was achieved before the start of the war.
