Vietnam's fruit and vegetable exports in May 2021 reached 400 million USD, a 48.3% increase from May 2020, with China being the primary market. From January to May 2021, fruit and vegetable exports totaled 1.77 billion USD, an 18.0% increase over the same period in 2020. However, the growth to the Chinese market may be hindered by the Covid-19 epidemic and oversupply. Meanwhile, Vietnam has an opportunity to export mangoes to the US, where demand for dried mangoes and mango juice is increasing.
